Poem Analysis
In the poem “A Boat” by Richard Brautigan it talks how even if a person doesn’t feel like they are the most beautiful person in the world someone can think different and think you’re the most beautiful thing in the world. I believe that the werewolf started to cry because no one had ever treated them like the person was treating them.

Literary Devices
In the poem the literary devices used were imagery and simile. They were used for the purpose of showing how the werewolf was and how was feeling. Imagery was when it said, “green and red tears flowed down his furry cheeks.” This showed how the werewolf was feeling after he saw the “ferris wheel”. Simile was used when it said “He looked like a boat…” This was a comparing the werewolf to how a boat looks in the water.
